What a great response I had about our 70th birthday party. Due to some prior vacation plans we have set the date for AUGUST 7, 2010
I would be interested in knowing what kind, if any, cancer that has affected you or your loved ones. It does seem that at our age that creepy disease has raised it's ugly head more than we realize. Let me know the kinds, ie breast, prostate, etc. by emailing me at leesieb@bellsouth.net. I have made a "Cancer Awareness Quilt" to be auctioned off at the party. The quilt represents 17 different cancers. The money will go to cancer research. If anyone has any suggestions and would like to do some research on your suggestions, I would be grateful, however, I think it would be better if it covered all cancers.
Other classes have heard about our "soda fountain" and have borrowed it for their reunions. I just got another call about using it for a May Lee reunion.
Please look at the "In Memory Of..." page and let me know if I have left anyone off as we will be honoring them, too.
Shortly I will be getting out a "snail mail" that will be sent to everyone
